Air conditioning service EPG TECHNICIAN October 2012 Millennium Ups – ONTARIO, CA My duties include, Generator and Automatic transfer switch repairs and emergency power system testing. This involves engine safety testing, generator load bank testing then ATS communication testing as well as a full building black out simulation test. All of these test need to meet the state and city codes pertaining to their specific industry. Site surveys and consulting is another facet to my job looking for possible problem ares with their current EPS and coming up with a Solution to resolve it in a timely manner.

EPG Technician March 2008 to November 2012 Collicutt energy Services – sacramento/ santa fe springs, california Start up and repair field technician my duties were certifying the environment for the equipment and testing the remote annunciator's communications between the Generator and the ATS and customer building management systems. Repairs included such items as diagnosing a main stator winding failure or repair a block heater or troubleshooting a monitoring system failure.After the system was deemed ready we would perform a series of test of the safety systems as well as Load Bank testing to meet all the NFPA 110 specs. These were most of my work parameters, on occasion I would be called to do failure analysis on a large bore engines and automatic transfer switches..

My responsibilities were but not limited too: Servicing all EPG equipment and HVAC equipment as well as checking all building grounds and transmission stations for any error codes or alarms.

Also I support the field for the local Los Angeles and Orange county area's. They are the factory for Movie silent generators as well as the importer of the Multi-quip line of industrial equipment.

EPG Technician/ Gas engine tech level 2 August 2003 to April 2005 Stewart & Stevenson inc. – Corona, ca Stewart & Stevenson / corona branch we serviced the greater Los Angeles area to support the Waukesha line of industrial engines. I work mainly consisted of trouble shooting failures and rebuilding these giant engines. I performed of eight complete VHP overhauls while working there, This was in frame complete tear down with crank deflection being performed as well as oil sampling and valve train failure analysis being performed. It was typical to see head bolts torque to 650 foot pounds and eight bolt mains. Toward the end I moved into the office and started performing the warranty claims for these units and learned every aspect of the business.

Technical Manager November 2002 to August 2003 Power Plus – Anahiem, ca Power Plus, I was responsible for the Day to Day operations of the rental fleet and temporary power distribution equipment. Providing technical support to the sales staff and technicians I had working under me. We were a 24 hour a day business and with medical centers and shopping malls being our primary customers. I was also put in charge of bringing our rental fleet to 100% operational status, at the time I was hired we were at 45-48% with many unit down on controller of fuel system issues. I was able to get the fleet to 97% in the short time I was there by working hands on and training my guys while we made repairs.

Shop Forman August 2001 to November 2002 Hawthorne Power Systems/Caterpillar – San Diego, ca As shop Foreman I was responsible for Hawthorne's rental fleet of equipment this included complete working knowledge of Generators,power distribution,load banks resistive and reactive as well as its HVAC gear. I also scheduled work for my crew and even helped set up entertainment events for large venues .Large load bank testing was my usual of site task, testing such things as the USS STENISS (Aircraft carrier) and WOLF CLASS (Nukelar Submarines) I carry Nuke clearance with the United States Naval Authority to do this work.This is where I received all my Caterpillar training at Hawthorne.
