Bioinformatics Specialist at BASF, RTP (March 2012 – Present)

• Developing SQL databases for storage and querying of expression data

• Responsible for administering, implementing, and running various software packages such as BLAST, R/Bioconductor, Emboss, Oracle, MySQL, Perl, Unix shell scripting, and any additional tool publically available on either a Linux or a Unix operating.

• Created Perl scripts to aid scientists in their data collection, analysis, and results.
