Project Description:
Advisory board offers various business intelligence tools (Compass
products) like surgery Compass, Spend Compass and Nursing Compass to its
members (US Hospitals) to gain more value and improve quality of their
services. Surgery Compass is designed to enable the Hospital management to
figure out their costs, expenses and profit generated out of their
Operation theatres. This tool also gives insight into the physician
performance and helps improve surgical margins in the near and long term.
At the core of our solution is a business intelligence tool, which
aggregates data from legacy systems to create a shared platform and common
metrics for performance benchmarking and comparative analytics across
profitability, cost, volume, and operations

Project Description:
Golf Channel lacked an effective way to consolidate, manage and distribute
business data. Data resided in many different sources and in different
formats, limiting its ability to analyze and deliver within a single
platform. The Datamart Development and Reporting project involved design,
development and implementation of datamart that could help them to analyze
the business from different perspectives. The source data residing at
disparate data sources were pulled together, cleansed, transformed
according to business rules and then loaded into the datamart. Cognos
reporting environment was built above the datamart to provide real-time
information to the business users. The datamart also provides complex
analytical capabilities enabling the business users to track sales, open
bookings and cancellations.
Responsibilities in the project:
> Understood the business requirements

> Configured the database connections in Informatica
> As per the requirement, ETL jobs were developed to implement the
incremental data load as well as full load.SCD1 and SCD 2 concepts

Project Description:
The Sales division at UOL was driven by daily web Ad sales strategy meeting
using a set of dashboard reports, referred to as WAR Room Dashboard, built
in MS Access and MS Excel. An operational analyst extracted data from
several data sources, integrated the data into the excel spreadsheet and
updated the dashboard before 9:00AM every day. As this proved unstable, the
Sales Operational Analytics and Reporting project was started with the aim
of cutting down the time for extracting & collecting data from different
data sources manually.
The project involved design, development and implementation of Sales
datamart that could provide a valuable insight into the company's business.
A reporting environment was build upon the datamart that would help the
UOL's sales division to strategize their daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly
Advertisement Sales vision.

Project Description:
The scope of this project is to work with the Walmart.com Reporting Team on
enhancements and changes to the existing system through approximately nine
release updates per year. The tasks assigned include assignments and QA
using Informatica, SQL, BO Universe, BO Reporting, and Unix Reporting in
addition to Production Support.
Responsibilities in the project:
