Shipbuilding University of Galati, Romania, study period 1989-1994

:graduated in 1994. My degree is naval architect and marine engineer.

Professional experience:

1994-1997 QC inspector for new shipbuilding in Mangalia Shipyard;

1997-2000 QC inspector for ship repairing in Daewoo Mangalia Shipyard;

2000-2007 assistant manager for new shipbuilding in Daewoo Mangalia

Shipyard;

2007-2012 Owner representative for Aegean Marine Petroleum Network Inc.

in Hyundai Qingdao Shipyard, China; here I surveyed construction of 16 oil

bunker vessels;

I surveyed as quality inspector and owner representative, the building

of all

kind of ships; I carried out inspection for items bellow to be according

to

drawings, standards, specifications and classification societies rules:

- installation,maintenance, function test, safety devices,

alarms and overhauling for propulsion system,rudder and steering

gear,main engines assembling, alignment and installation on board,

diesel engines, compressors, steam turbines, boilers and pumps;

- attendance of workshop test for Main Engine, Diesel generators, cargo

oil pumps and other equipment;

- piping fabrication, installation, pressure test and commissioning;

- on board test for equipment in engine room and on deck;

- sea trials;

- deck equipment maker shop test;

- hull assembling and superstructure fabrication, structural tank test;

- steel outfitting fabrication and installation on board;

- hatch covers fabrication and installation on board;

- NDT (UT, MPI, RT and DP ) attendance and interpretation.

I worked also as coordinator Engineer in Quality Control/ Quality

Assurance

Department and I managed quality control activity for new shipbuilding.

I issued patrol inspection report, inspection procedures,

nonconformity

report, correction activity report.

I prepared quality control inspection items plan.
