(Biomass Power Plant in A.P)

Description: The purpose of the project is utilizing available

biomass in the region effectively and efficiently for the generation of

electricity. The power will be sold to Andhra Pradesh state grid for

additional revenue generation, sustainable economic growth, conservation of

environment through use of abundantly available biomass fuel and greenhouse

Gas (GHG) emission reduction. The project will also help certain extent to

bridge the gap between the ever-increasing demand and supply of electricity

in the state of Andhrapradesh.

Role & Responsibilities:

. Taking the readings of day to day power generation in the plant.

. Daily Performance Reporting.

. Calculating Power Generation & Export in the plant.

. Maintaining the all the records of generation in the plant.

Title : STUDY ON LAY OUT OF 33 11 KV SUBSTATIONS

Description: An electrical substation is a subsidiary station of an

electricity generation, transmission and distribution system where voltage

is transformed from high to low or the reverse using transformers. Electric

power may flow through several substations between generating plant and

consumer, and may be changed in voltage in several steps. A substation have

transformers and protecting devices like circuit breakers, bus bars,

relays, isolators, switches etc.The various factors of substation like

classification, selection of site, protection, design and some of the

particulars of substation is discussed. Some of the equipment used is

delicate and need monitoring. It is better to monitor rather than

replacement
