This work was conducted with collaboration with the mentioned partners
as a thesis project.
1. Collecting RF data along the main train between Stockholm-
Gothenburg (Sweden) using TSMW from R&S.
2. Measuring the channel matrix of the LTE 900 in LOS
environments.
3. Proposing a model for the radio environments on board trains and
evaluating the MIMO performance in LOS.
4. Finding out the best theoretical and practical receiver antenna
separation so that MIMO function in LOS.
5. Using R&S NPA to evaluate the LTE 900 coverage and data
quality over the network.
6. Future estimation of the internet on board trains.
