Title: Vizag Planimetric Mapping (Satellite Imagery)

Project Description: This Project involved the Vector mapping of Vizag

city. The inputs for the Project was IKONOS satellite stereo Images and

control points. The Project setup in this project was done manually using

IKONOS module. The Project was automatically created using ISPM. The

Triangulation was done in ISDM Multiphoto for finer control. The accuracy

achieved was 1meter in Planimetry and 1.5meter in vertical. Feature

creation was done in ISFC and finally feature collection was done in ISSD.

The 3d data was exported to AutoCAD file and final editing was done in

AutoCAD.

Role in this Project

1. Project setup in ISPM.

2. Orientation in ISPM - Multiphoto option, Feature creation in ISFC,

Feature collection in ISSD.

2. QA/QC of 3D captured Models

Title: Chandigarh City Planimetric Mapping and DTM generation

Project Description: This Project involved the digitization of Chandigarh

City. The inputs for the Project were Aerial photos and control points. The

Project setup in this project was done manually using ISAT and orientation

by doing aerial triangulation in ISAT. Feature creation was done in ISFC

and finally feature collection was done in ISSD. The 3d data was exported

to autocad file and final editing and edge matching was done in AutoCAD.

The DTM of this area was collected using ISAE and ISDC. The points were

collected automatically first using ISAE and later ISDC was used to Edit

the points to achieve a finer DTM. Contour maps of 10-meter interval were

submitted to the client.

Description:

NRSA has been entrusted with preparation of large scale basemap on 1:2,500

scale using 3D mapping techniques with 1:10,000 scale aerial photographs

for Town and Country Planning Organization, Ministry of Science and

Technology. After performing aerial photography, scanning, GPS survey and

triangulation, NRSA delivers the data for feature capturing. The

triangulated models of the project need to be reconstructed using digital

photogrammetry software and error analysis is made to ensure the accuracy

for the mapping. Project specifications are designed and mapping is carried

out where periodical QC is performed to accept the data. Model wise data

checking for topological and structural errors would be performed to ensure

quality data as per the project specification. 3D Topographic digital

database with map compilation, DEM's and orthophotos are delivered.
