The role aims to improve quality, delivery and productivity using lean concepts and tools. The
focus is to create and maintain flow of materials, products and information within two
manufacturing companies. Proper improvements projects are identified, initiated and managed to
achieve the aim.
Duties / Achievements include:
Group product range into product families that share the same value streams.
Rearrange factory layout based on product families identified to improve delivery and
efficiency.
Restructure the planning and scheduling cycles to support the concepts of flow and pull.
Significantly improve productivity and space utilization.
Establish proper Key Performance Indicators at top management level and cascade downwards.
Identify main gaps, root cause of business pains and development needs.
Prioritize potential improvement projects based on feasibility and impact assessments.

Prepare the top management for their roles in a lean/six sigma organization.
Identify clients’ main gaps and needs, prioritize and select potential improvement projects.
Choose the proper raod map for each project; six sigma DMAIC, lean or “just do it”.

Lead and mentor improvement projects done by the client’s belts using six sigma or lean
