. Prepares and estimates scopes of work and bill of materials (includes

ISP and OSP requirement) for both Public Works and Private projects

drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with communications

infrastructure specifications, codes and standards.

. Survey, plan, design and integrate Telecom Outside Plant, Structured

Cabling, Security Surveillance CCTV and other low voltage systems,

both copper and fiber optic cables on inter-building and intra-

Job Description

. Pursue project leads and participate in pre-bid meetings. Follow-up on

all customer requests for proposals, site assessments, and

consultation requests on a timely manner.

. Survey, plan, design, integrate, and supervise Telecom Outside Plant,

Structured Cabling, Security Surveillance CCTV and other low voltage

systems, both copper and fiber optic cables on inter-building and

intra-building wiring installations.

. Develops detailed estimates and specifications for labor and

material costs, and proposed pricing. Generating detailed bill of

materials, AutoCAD/Visio/Smart Draw drawings, qualification

information, technical and commercial clarifications, schedules, and

other supporting information as required by the request for proposal

(RFP).

. Prepare Scope of Work, Manpower requirements, Bill of Materials

(includes ISP and OSP requirement) for public work project drawings

and specifications to ensure compliance with infrastructure

specifications, codes and standards.

. Conduct site surveys and assess the customer's communications and low-

voltage system requirements with strong focus on network distribution

system design and installation.

. Work with other RCDD and engineering discipline to cost-effectively

design, specify, and integrate voice, data, and video and other

telecommunications systems solutions.

. Participates in the initial pre-construction meeting with the

customer, Project Leader, and other contractors to review the project

and establish the ground rules for customer responsibilities and

expectations.

. Participates in ongoing project meetings with the owner, General

Contractor, Electrical Contractor, and Project Leader as needed to

assure the continuous flow of information to all parties involved.

. Effectively perform project management functions for multiple projects

by effectively assigning each project to Project Leaders and managing

the project team to success. Perform occasional hands on project

support when needed.

. Manages mobilization of materials, equipment, tools, subcontractors,

and personnel required for project execution. Ensure all resources

needed for successful completion of each project are available prior

to project start date.

. Manages project schedule to ensure completion of all ADC projects

within project requirements. Prepares periodic schedule updates,

evaluates progress and implements project schedule recovery plans when

necessary. Provide weekly project reports to management and

customers.

. Develops and maintain project management tracking system and provide

analysis for job trending/forecasting. Conduct risk management and act

as a catalyst to resolve project problems, record and manage project

issues. Compile and maintain historical data for management use and

estimating guidelines.

. Supervises Project Leaders and monitor their progress. Provide full

support to Project Leaders to ensure overall success of their

projects.

. Conducts project assessment and Project Leader performance evaluation

upon completion of each project. Assess strengths and weaknesses at

project completion, and apply knowledge gained to improve project

processes and systems. Document and compile.

. Establish and maintain positive relationships with a wide range of

groups (team members, customers, Project Leaders, Office Manager,

vendors/suppliers, management, etc.)

. Conducts final quality check of project deliverables upon completion

of the project and perform random on-site quality assurance

inspections of project workmanships throughout the cycle of the

project. Ensure all work is being done according to Bicsi standards.

. Manages project deliverables in line with customer requirements.

Conduct final walk-through and prepare/submit final project turn-in

documents to customers (As-built drawing, test results, and other

project documents).

. Installs modular UTP and Fiber Optic patch panels, hubs, switches and

routers.

. Terminates, splices, tests Copper (Cat5e/6), Fiber Optic cables

(Singlemode/Multimode) and prepares all associated documents as
