Decision Support Services - Federated Data Warehousing collects and

stores integrated sets of historical data from multiple operational

systems and Sources (such as Auto, Fire, Life, Health, Bank, and Agency

Insurance data) and feeds them to one or more data marts. It provides a

single, consistent interface to both Systems and Business Partners who

need data and/or tools for analytical, internal, and external reporting

needs.

This project dealt with migrating FDW data from Mainframe DB2 to BIRA

Unix DB2 for increased analytic purposes and decision making

capabilities.

Responsibilities:

. Gathered requirements while meeting with the Business Analysts and End

Users

. Developed the initial Load data movement strategy for loading data from

Host to BIRA.

. Developed ETL design Document and data flow design document.

. Developed mapping specifications based on the analysis of source data,
