. Manage the process of three retail payrolls, one for
Canadian Employees, one for the distribution center in
Groveport OH and the main payroll processed in Bellevue.
. These were processed with an approximate combined total
of 10,000 employees using Ceridian software, Source 550
for the states and Insync in Canada.
. Manage a staff of four payroll specialists three in
Bellevue one in Groveport OH. The payroll specialists
in Bellevue were entry level which required a lot of
hands on instruction. Also had a temp position that was
working on cleaning up old payroll tax issues.
. Post GL entries into the ledger, reconcile any
differences.
. Maintain the relationship with Ceridian which included
maintenance on the software as well as the relationship
with the Account Executive.
. Establish and maintain the SOX compliance controls.
. Oversee the tax filing done by CTS.
. Ensure the tax reporting and filing not done by Ceridian
was completed accurately and on time. Such as Third
