The Sachem Company is a food broker who represents over 110 suppliers

whose products are sold in retail stores throughout the U.S.

Project Coordinator

I was a Project Coordinators (PC) who functioned as the "inside sales"

contact for two Sachem Account Managers. The PC has responsibility for

shepherding food suppliers' projects through the development phase of taste-

testing approval by the retailer, along with coordinating packaging

artwork, the business contract signature process, and order placement.

. Coordinated communications between food suppliers and potential retail

end user beginning with sending samples for approval and following up

with contracts.

. Overseeing packaging artwork production through photo studios or ad

agencies to meet print ad publication deadlines.

. Resolved customer deductions/billing issues between the supplier and

retailer.

. Maintained Account Managers' calendar and travel arrangements while

producing sales reports and customer presentations.

Provided administrative support for field sales professionals and

department managers which included proposal/bid generation, quotes,

contracts, customer correspondence, presentations, spreadsheet reports,

organizational charts, territory maps and newsletters all formatted and

contents proof-read before submission to customers.

. Assembled a vast electronic library of proposal templates, company

overview presentations, photos, logos, territory maps, organizational

charts and contact lists, along with general company information for

Kept a maintenance log on a network laser printer; changed toners,

diffusers and provided routine maintenance to prolong the printer's

life. Responsible for purchasing and finding reasonable repairs for LCD

overhead projectors.

SuperUser contact for filing expense reports on line and as the

Covisint Administrator for Castrol's access into Ford Motor Company's

purchasing databases.
