. Supply Chain Transformation: As a part of transformation effort led by
AMD recently, I was a part of team which developed and successfully
deployed supply and demand management system. It helped the company to
optimize throughout the supply chain and reduce the inventory cost as
well as helped to strike the balance between conflicting objectives of
sales and operations.
. Supplier Management: Lead a cross functional team to develop in-house
B2B tools which enhanced the communication and saved time. This
eventually turned into VMI inventory model and helped to save
company's cash flow.
. Strategic Capacity Planning: Lead a global cross functional team
across operations, and engineering to fine tune the capacity modeling.
This model helped to make trade-off decisions between engineering,
supply chain operations and finance management on the capital
expenditures.
. Lean Manufacturing: As an industrial engineer at Singapore, I was
responsible for developing simulation models and train operations on
lean methodologies.
