I am a project architect/senior designer with 30 plus years of experience in design/construction management of new and renovated

21,000 SF one story charter school including 6 classroom dinning hall gym and administration. Provide full
set of document from schematic design thru construction documents phase.
Edison Public Safety Center – Edison, New Jersey
18,000 SF one story police and fire department. Including offices interview room training room and sally port
for police department and apparatus room dormitory and offices for fire department.

760,000 SF retail, office, residential complex
One high-rise (20 story), two mid-rise, five townhouses and existing building for renovation The project
included - 270 apartment units with a total 325,000 SF; 125,000 SF of office space, and 42,000 SF of retail
space, Three floor underground parking garage with 295 parking spaces and 20,000 SF of green roof.

Hudson County Psychiatric Facility – Secaucus, New Jersey
Restoration of a 50 year old, 5 story building. Façade was removed and replaced with combination of brick
and metal panels.

W-Squared Condominium Complex – New York, New York
200,000 SF Fourteen story new building and seven story existing land mark building.
The seven story landmark building was more than 100 years old, it was mandatory to keep the façade. The
whole building was demolished except façade, in order to maintain the façade, demolition and construction
executed in a same time on different phases. Also there was a new fourteen story luxury residential building
that was connected to the existing building in a basement, first and second floor.

Farley Pennsylvania Station Redevelopment, New York, New York
ILA has been part of the design team led by SOM for 1,400,000 sf. seven stories USPS landmark building
that was originally used by post office as its main facility; the building was sitting on the subway tracks,
going to Penn Station across street. The project was to redesign the building as the new train station. Tow
basement level designed for the train platforms, first and second floor for lobby ticketing hall and retail.
Provide document for schematic design and design development.
Mohegan Sun Casino Expansion – Uncasville, Connecticut
New addition to the existing Casino, the project was designed by KPF and ILA was hired to provide
construction documents and help on technical issues.

Position: Project architect and Designer
Spring Creek Water Treatment – Brooklyn, New York
New construction and existing buildings to be renovated.
New engineering design for the water treatment plant was to lower the roof from 18’ to 14’ to reduce the
volume of the air inside of the plant. In order to lower the roof 4’of each concrete column was to be removed.
Then the roof was moved down. Also the new facility and pump station designed for the water treatment
plant.
General Post Office – Bronx, New York
Four story existing building to be renovated.
Baruch College, City University Facility – New York, New York
750,000 SF eighteen story complex building for Baruch College occupies nearly a whole Manhattan block.
The three story basement of the building consists of a gymnasium for 1000 spectator, auxiliary gym,
swimming pool, racket ball courts, amphitheater and 25’ height recital hall and the floors above grade
consists of four story high lobby, conference rooms, large class rooms with sloped floor for 200 students,
regular size class rooms, labs and administration all in one complex building.
Three groups were working on this project one group was working on exterior of the building another group
was working on programming and spacing. My group worked on core and shell include interior of the
building lobby all the basement facilities, the circulation and egress for the building.
P.S. 721 K – Brooklyn, New York
Occupational training center for mentally and physically challenged teenagers. The facility contained
classrooms, training shops in various trades. The land was in an odd shape; also the rail road tracks crossing
over the property divided the land in two sections, design for that project was a great challenge.
Brooklyn Mail Processing Facility – Brooklyn, New York
678,000 SF Two level general mail facility, and a 22,000 SF vehicle maintenance facility. The foot print of
the main facility was large 800’ x 600’ in order to have enough exit for egress and also not exceed the travel
distance per code we provided the fire rated tunnel from the middle of the building to the exterior.
West Chester Mail Processing Facility – West Chester, New York
850,000 SF Four level general mail facility and a 30,000 SF vehicle maintenance facility. This project
canceled in the middle of the design development process.

Position: Principal in charge
Sayeh Tower – Tehran, Iran
250,000 SF Twenty story mixed use retail and office building. This luxury office building included three
levels of basement for parking, the first basement and first and second floor of retail and fourteen stories of
office spaces. I got involve on this project during CD construction document preparation and it continued to
the end of construction, for more than two years I spend 30% of my time in the site and it was one of the best
field experience at that time.
Bank of Saderat Headquarters – Isfahan, Iran
210,000 SF Fourteen story office building for regional headquarter of a major bank including administration
offices and retail banking. The concept design and presentation was done for the competition, my office won
the first prize then we continue to prepare Schematic design thru Construction Document.
Paramedic School (Design Competition Winner) – Arak, Iran
83,000 SF two story building for a paramedic training school which included class rooms, amphitheater,
lunch room and administration, Provide full set of document from schematic design thru construction
documents phase.
Office Building for National Iranian Oil Company – Ahvaz, Iran
33,000 SF five story office building for headquarter of the Iran National Oil Company.
In addition more than 1,000,000 SF of various type of building include residential, office building, retail and
industrial building in Tehran and Esfahan
