labs. The temporary position came about when the chemistry and physics instructor was out for surgery
for a month.

Environmental chemist Duties included water and soil testing analysis through wet chemistry and
analytical instrumentation.
SBC/AT&T Internet Services, Plano TX (03/2000 03/2003):
Network/Systems technologist Duties took place in network operation center (NOC) and included
monitoring and troubleshooting the company’s national network of servers and routers. When there was
an alarm somewhere on that network, the purpose of the NOC was that of a triage to try and fix the
problem if we could while informing the engineers in case the issue had to be turned over to them.

customers over the phone and/or graphic and non graphic interfaces with their internet connections and
other related internet issues.

and other general consumer goods, pharmaceutical products, herbal beverages, etc. The company
closed in August of 1997.
Dallas Independent School District, Dallas, TX, (08/95 06/96):
8th grade science teacher Duties included preparation and instruction of science curriculum and lab. I
was a “floater” with a push cart of supplies and not having my own classroom made it very difficult to have
enough time to set up and teach the labs which were very rare. I resigned at the end of the year when I
was informed I would not have my own classroom for the next year.
NDRC/Intertek Environmental Testing Labs, Richardson TX (09/91 06/95):
Environmental chemist I was hired on as an environmental chemist, since I had a few courses of
chemistry in college. Duties included wet chemistry water and soil extractions, testing and analysis
through dry analytical procedures (gas chromatography, GCMS, OVA analysis, HPLC, infrared spec,
BOD, COD, etc.).

Water reatment technician Duties included treatment of waste water used in light fixture manufacturing
plant. Removal of suspended solids such as metals into a filter cake into drums for disposal, testing
water’s pH scale and lead content before effluent could be released into local water system.
