As a Basis consultant was responsible for working with the group for

maintainance SAP Netweaver components and interfaces on Websphere MQ. The

support role involved planning for the SAP Netweaver Patch upgrade, and

three step Enhance ment pack installation. Also, provided solution to

automate the legacy interface utilizing the existing flags on the

Websphere MQ messages.

10g, was challenged to bring the over delayed SAP GL migration work back

on tracks. Working under the aegis of IBM Strategic Outsourcing, the task

ALE dist model and its components due to newly built reference system.

RDS provides a central repository to establish worldwide reference for

all the IBM/Lenovo Products, Prices, Customers & Currency conversion

data. The extended responsibilities included transport admin, ALE Model

maint & distribution and Basis support.

With seven separate SAP landscapes undergoing relocation to IBM AIX

servers, lead the effort to conversion of 7000+ Production Application

Batch jobs from Autosys to TWS (Tivoli Work Scheduler). The main

challenge was to accommodate the newly defined Batch jobs in Production

environment during the migration and mock test process. The extended work

included fixing AIX scripts to fit the new environment, and supporting

the TWS upgrades and performance tuning.

Fulfillment, eBHS & CBS. Lenovo Corp systems were split from the original

PC Division environment. The work also included the support for eBHS,

Fullfilment and CBS divisions. eBHS is the application hosting solution

for Small Midrange Business sector Customers. CBS or Cross Brand

Solution, is a run-once application with common WW Business processes and

Data structures.

DB/390. The task also involved identifying and managing the consultation

resources, in other technical areas of the SAP Upgrade. The main

challenge was accommodating the upgrade given the short time span. The

Lead the upgrade project planning efforts for IBM PC Division to upgrade 3

TB SAP 45B system to 620 running on AIX and DB/390, in order to implement

the integrated Supply Chain Management. The final production upgrade

involved a lot of Data archiving, a total of 10 upgrades, with 2 system

copies for quick turn around. The additional responsibilities included

ensuring system stability, standard Basis admin activities, development

of methods for error mgmt and developing utilities to support the admin

work.

efforts to merge the complex interfaces, with minimal downtime for

environment with 24x7 operation. as the system required 24x7 coverage.

31H, before integrating with the one in US, and later upgrading the

integrated 31H environment to 45B. The responsibility also included

supporting the systems for stability during the upgrades, and developing

utilities for Basis support activities.
