Railroad Catenary, Light Rail and Overhead Contact Wire Specialist with a

installation and maintenance of transmission, signal, trolley and light

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
AMTRAK - Senior Supervisor of Catenary Construction (1996-2008)
Partnered with senior management, internal departments and external vendors
to assess the feasibility of major improvement projects throughout the
entire Northeast East Corridor of the railroad system.
. Secaucus Transfer Station and Sunnyside Yard High Speed Rail (2002-2008)
. Responsible for the Construction of all Catenary Structures and
Wires.
. Installing Foundations, Erecting poles and modifying existing
structures.
. Re-Routing existing signal and transmission lines 5 miles outside
project.
. New contact wire installation, including 17 new crossovers, all
within the new station.
. Provided new wire runs in Sunnyside Yard to accommodate The High
Speed Rail Facility.
. Performed management and supervision duties in relation to employees
and contractors exceeding manpower crews of 50.
AMTRAK - Electric Traction Foreman (1991-1996)
Responsible for the Maintenance of all wires and structures in the busiest
section of the Northeast Corridor including 117 miles of Catenary and 7
major tunnels leading into and out of Penn. Station N.Y.
. Hunter Yard - Newark, NJ (1991-1996)
. Managed coworkers performing various maintenance roles.
. Performed the construction of catenary structures.
. Responsible for the safe movement of passenger trains.
AMTRAK - Class "A" Lineman and Gang Foreman (1976-1991)
Directed lineman and trainees in the field, while adhering to assigned work
schedules set by the foreman of catenary.
