Lead Programmer

. Automated process to manage the creation of transactions and payments for

Workers Compensation Medical Bills. Process saved $250,000 during the

first month while creating over $1.5 million dollars worth of payments.

Process also reduced Customer Service Representative time by eliminating

manual entries of data to create medical bill payments.

. Created programs that accurately charged worker compensation claim the

actual amount due instead of dividing the invoice evenly over the claims

that had bills reviewed for the time period in question.

. Converted Focus programs from mainframe to the Web Focus platform.

. Used SQL statements to gather claim data from the DB2 table to automate

the process of sending data to vendors via Encryption and FTP.

. Maintained CICS programs for the Claim Transfer Process.

. Used FileAid RDX utility to copy data from the Production DB2 tables to

the Test region.

. Gathered requirements, created technical, functional, and supplemental as

well as design specifications, created prototypes, designed, coded and

tested programs.

. Created Vsam files to store claim transfer data used to update the

various claim DB2 tables on the mainframe using various SQL statements.

. Utilized JCL to create processes to run various programs for the Claim

Batch Cycle. Used conditional statements in order to determine whether

the next step in the JCL was needed.

. Main programmer for Claims production support.

Environment: Cobol Mainframe, Focus, Web Focus, CICS, JCL, Vsam, DB2, SQL,

Programmer (On site with Daimler Chrysler 2002-2003)

. Member of design team that created a new paint process for assembly lines

throughout the world. This new process greatly reduced the time it took

to change paint colors in the plants and thus allowing more production of

vehicles in less time.

. Utilized COBOL Mainframe and MQ Series.

Programmer Analyst (On site with Chrysler Financial 2000-2002)

. Primary programmer for redesigning the process for Funding/Securitization

Area of Chrysler Financial. Process created pools of vehicles the

company sold in the secondary market. Redesign trimmed time from 3-4

hours down to 20 minutes allowing the company to run several pools a day

in order to get the best mix of vehicles to sell.

. Utilized Mainframe COBOL and CICS were used for this position.

. Received several Certificates of Appreciation from customers in regards

to completing projects under timeframe provided.

Global Crossing, Inc. - Bingham Farms, MI 1999 - 2000

Software Engineer

. Redesigned programs for the Billing/Credit/Collection Department for Y2K.

. Created, converted and redesigned several CICS screens for the customer

in order to reduce the number of key strokes and for easier viewing.

. Main programmer for conversion of three applications from the Mainframe

systems into LifePro application.

. Supported LifePro system, responsible for the Reinsurance area of the

application.

. Received Employee of the Quarter for the completion of the ALCE

conversion project from the mainframe to LIFEPRO application under the

time frame provided.
