• Negotiated rail and trucking costs on both bids and daily business. Due to my vendor relationships I
was successful in securing business and achieving an average margin of $110 per shipment.
• Managed all facets of comprehensive multi-lane corporate bids for volumes in excess of 50,000 loads
per year. The corporations included Unilever, Pinnacle Foods, and Ryder System among others. Due
to my expertise we were awarded significant business on all bids presented.
• Managed all pricing concerns for accounts comprising over 60% of the company’s business. This
totaled over $30 million in annual sales. Due in part to my organizational and analytical skills I was
able to manage this business in a profitable and effective manner.
• Designed and implemented a template to be used for customer rate quotations. The use of this form
significantly reduced billing errors and accounts receivable issues.

manner that the data was stored we insured the efficient handling of shipments by all pricing
managers and customer service personnel.

directly to facilitate their rail billing. This made accuracy imperative.
• Administered and analyzed system reports to verify data integrity and individual customer quotations.
Thus minimizing errors, maintaining margin levels and assuring routing accuracy.
• Developed strong working relationships with railroads and carriers. These relationships allowed me
