* Professional Experience:

2004 - 2009 Direct Brands Inc. (BMG-Columbia House) New

York

Retouch images, build creative files and place in page layout

for final review, allowing Art Directors to view layered page

files. Problems that sometimes occurred with art files were

there was not enough image of a person or object to complete the

figure and not just fill in the space. I then would complete a

side of a body where there were none, or top of a head that was

cropped off. I would then build a page so that the Art

Directors would see a final retouched layout. Color correct and

size images and process to server for print and web access. As

a desktop scanner operator, scan supplied art work for usage in

compiling different art.

2001 - 2003 Applied Graphics Technologies/ESPN New York

2nd shift Mac Operator worked with Art Directors for color

correcting and retouching high resolution files for page, and

ripping pages to a Dalim workstation for final page composition

by way of Litho layout program on that station where trapping

and layering are done for final files before submitting to

printer. I would get a layout of various pieces of art and

build a layered file for the Art Directors' approval before

going to page. This would be done in Photoshop or Illustrator.

1998 - 2001 Applied Graphics Technologies/Agency Division New

York

Third shift Supervisor/Color Quality Control. Responsible for

operators and proofers, reviewing and giving directions for

operators to achieve customer request and upon further review of

files, submit to clients for approval as well as all other jobs

leaving the plant for any type of submit be it color or page

layout. Also responsible for maintaining calibrations done on

all output equipment.
