Project Engineer.
Mechanical equipment heat transfer engineering: Worked with clients,
vendors and other engineers to develop requisition packages, bid
evaluations and purchasing packages for pressure vessels and flare
stacks for the expansion of petroleum refineries in Saskatchewan,
Canada. Requisition packages for vendors developed in PDMC; bid
evaluations and purchasing packages with recommendations to clients
based on technical acceptability developed in Microsoft Excel and
Powerpoint. Strong emphasis on equipment conformance to ASME Codes for
material type, thickness, and connection welds for technical
acceptability.
Project engineering: Project team engineer on $700 million refinery
expansion projects in Lemont, Ill and Corpus Christi, TX. First hand
exposure to the responsibilities of a project manager.
Responsibilities included:
. interfacing between international contractors and the client;
working on inside battery limits (major equipment) and outside
battery limits (connections to and controls of major equipment)
teams for the two different refinery sites at the same time,
. addressing a variety of different piping issues, including
issuing and checking piping isometric drawings, and aiding in
back checking of civil drawings, equipment drawings, and

Responsibilities included troubleshooting parts problems for all metal
car body parts for both the Toyota Corolla and Pontiac Vibe. Tasks
