Communication of IPv6 sites over the IPv4 backbone network
Involved an IPv6 Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) network and a manual
tunneling mechanism for IPv6 Routing
Information Protocol (RIP), where IPv6 packets were encapsulated in
IPv4 packets for delivery across IPv4 backbone.
Deployment of IPv6 IPSec Site-to-Site Protection using Virtual Tunnel
Interface
An ISP Core was connected to four customer sites via IPV6 routing
protocols like RIPng and OSPFv3 and a Virtual Tunnel was created with the
help of IKE Policy, Preshared Key, ISAKMP Profile, and IPSec VTI to
encrypt traffic.
