EXPERIENCE Production Manager: Manage 55 employees, through a

coaching and teamwork model, in mascara packaging. Manage

a 24/7 production area with 5 packaging lines and over 20

skus Responsible for safety, quality, production, reviews,

saturation planning, capital projects, GMP requirements,

ISO specifications, FDA regulations, hazardous waste and

maintenance on all shifts. Focus on implementing TPM

principles including 5S, 5 why, BEC, EIT, CLAIR, SMED, and

One Point Lessons. Cell increased OEE from 39% to 62% in 6

months.

Management Development Program

Processing Supervisor: Managed 30 employees in mascaras processing on

a 24/7 schedule. Responsible for safety, quality,

scheduling and productivity.

Supply Chain Component Supply Planner: Managed component

inventory and responsible for days of supply utilizing lean

manufacturing techniques.

Packaging and Processing Project Engineer: Managed

multiple capital projects, from conception to

implementation, in excess of $2M. Led the department

quality team, facilitated monthly meetings for all

packaging employees, reduced the department finished goods

reject rate to <1%, worked closely with marketing and

development in new product feasibility studies and costing,

piloted high performance line teams to facilitate

improvements on the packaging floor through TPM

methodology, worked as a liaison between production and the

engineering department in all safety, health and

environmental issues, responsible for standardizing

manufacturing times for each family of products, evaluated

cleaning processes and optimized procedure, established 5S

standards for the department, created a database to track

downtime and efficiencies for processing batches, interim

processing manager for one month, created and presented

plant status presentations to VPs of L'Oreal manufacturing

quarterly.

Chemical Engineering Intern: Performed a project evaluation

of a sponge absorber to optimize propane and butane

recovery. As part of project, used PROII for simulation,

compared simulation data to information from the process

and lab results, reviewed equipment drawings, discussed

equipment procurement with vendors, and calculated economic

feasibility of project. Inspected a distillation column

during a unit turnaround. Updated unit PFDs.

Engineering Intern: Created lockout tag out procedure for

all areas of the steel extrusion plant. Worked closely

with plant engineering and mechanical staff to complete

manuals for lockout tag out procedure.
