This position manages the HR function in the areas of strategic
development, long-range planning, talent management, leadership & employee
development, compensation strategy, conflict resolution and training
initiatives. Responsible for providing support to the VP, Human Resources
in policy development and deployment of company initiatives for the East
Coast branches of Schneider Electric. Acts as strategic business advisor
to executive management for human relations issues, compensation strategy,
talent management, succession planning and other strategic initiatives

Special Projects Manager, Office of the Mayor 2008 - 2009
This position was created by the Mayor in conjunction with an executive
order establishing the city's "Green Ribbon Committee".
. Advise the Mayor and Mayoral Staff on the development of the city's
environmental policy.
. Manage and coordinate 25 member citizen committee responsible for
making recommendations to the Mayor to make Nashville a leader in
environmental excellence.
. Create successful process and organizational template for the Mayor's
Green Ribbon Committee.
. Develop innovative, environmentally-friendly programs for the city
and Nashville community to save money and protect natural capital by
ensuring appropriate policies and initiatives.
. Coordinate Committee, City Departments, City Council, and partners in
the community to create and drive environmental programs to ensure a
greener and more prosperous city. Focus areas include clean air,
clean water, abundant open spaces and smart land use planning, waste
reduction and recycling, green building and energy efficiency and
conservation, renewable energies, as well as a transportation profile
that minimizes vehicle drive miles and fuel consumption as well as

and other governing bodies; as well as continuity of efficient daily
operations for solid waste and recycling related programs.

opportunities for the city from increased curbside services to
locations for new 24 recycling drop off sites.
