The CPCC project in Novartis Health Care Administration (HCA)
groups is a SAP system used to manage complete life cycle of Commercial
Contract in Pharma industry. CPCC has interfaces with 11 different systems
like Government Pricing (GP), Info One, Electronic Claims Processor (ECP),
Novartis Customer Connection (NCC), an Electronic Data interchange (EDI),
HIBCC, First Data Bank (FDB), TM1, IMS, Phoenix Data Sampler and SAP R3
interface etc to manage different business operation of Novartis. CPCC
system is used to enter contract, pricing, customer, Product, rebate Rate

The Market Basket Management (MBM) project in Novartis Health Care
Administration (HCA) group intends to provide an automated sourcing and
distribution of IMS Market Share data at NDC11 level and to develop an
automated Market Basket Management process and analytical reporting
capabilities on market share data. The project consists of various stages
like ETL process mainly handled by Unix shell scripting and SQL Loader
along with oracle packages, data cleansing process, application interface
and Cognos reporting. ETL process takes various source fix format files as
input and cleans it as per the business validation and load into master
tables. Then UI interacts with the master data and performs necessary
management process and Cognos tool then after uses processed data for its

transferring from Computer to UNIX server (FTP-BATCH Process),
