Chase Manhattan Bank, Bombay, India
The System generates Document Credits from Drawee Banks to the Client
Banks. This application accepts documents from Exporter's Client Banks (all
over India) at Chase Manhattan (Bombay), which are then verified. An
acceptance telex goes to the respective client banks with the appropriate
credits. TTS (Transaction Tracking System) was used to control
transactions. The system was used in Chase branches all over India and
Pakistan.
