TDMA Wireless Handsets - Systems engineering team lead for next generation
handset suite development. Developed requirements in several functional
areas for multiple handsets, including network signaling, product
operations and administration, and private systems support.
MX1000 Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) Switch - Systems engineer for
Operations, Administration, and Maintenance, responsible for requirements
and functional test plans. Developed requirements and test plans in
services related areas, including ATM-standard Private Network-Network
Interface (PNNI) routing, and system security (based on SNMP).
Sandia Environmental Decision Support System (SEDSS) - Architect and sole
programmer for graphical workstation application platform for Sandia
National Laboratory hydrologists to provide decision support in
environmental remediation, in C++ using Interviews graphical object system.
Integrated public domain Geographical Information System into solution.
Enhanced Modular Signal Processor (EMSP) - Systems engineer for application
generation for a U.S. Navy signal processing computer. Wrote requirements
for compilation software running on support machines, and run-time
distribution and execution software within multivariate processors on
signal processing computer. Managed development by two subcontractors.
Developed the first prototype compiler for the application language.
Operations Support Systems (OSS) Provided analysis and requirements for OSS
clients.
- System suite for Pacific Bell broadband hybrid fiber-coax networks.
- Verizon long distance operations support in ATM provisioning, Access
Service Requests (ASR), and customer record management.
- Multi-client distributed Field Access system for dispatched field
craft activity and craft access to multiple operations support
