SKILLS
As Platte County Maintenance Supervisor I was responsible for the
maintenance dept. budget, all duties in keeping the Platte County
facilities up in all repairs including grounds keeping and custodial,
including the detention facilities with a secure environment. I supervised
3 full time employees and 1 part time employee and had dealings with over
150 county employees on a daily basis. I have supervised different
contractors for construction projects in relations to the building and
grounds of Platte County. Not only was I the Maintenance Supervisor, but
also did all of the IT networking within the County facilities, which
included 50 workstations, printers and the Window 2000 server, as well as
dealing with software companies and doing all of the cat5 wiring for
networking, installing hardware and software, rebuilt and repaired
computers. I was directly under the supervision of the Platte County
Commissioners.
While owning my own business as well as working for others I have roofed,
framing, remodeled, trim work, window and screen repair, siding
installation, floor installation and repairs, installation of flooring
materials (laminate, tile, linoleum), drywall and texture, misc. plumbing
and electrical, painting, concrete work, landscaping, erect garages and out
buildings, built fences (chain link, privacy, barbed wire, electric), all
general construction.
Attended Madisonville, Kentucky College/CDL Training Services and received
my class A CDL license. Drive tractor-trailer truck over the road.
Attending Centura College/Tidewater Tech to receive my Associate of
Occupational Science Degree in Computer Network Management.
