2004 to 2009

responsible project management and executive positions.

Chief Operations Officer (2006 to 2009)

Oversaw daily operations of a 20 person lighting design, electrical

engineering and systems design firm, managed the studio operations and

coordination between departments and project managers of the design

studio including design sessions, team coordination, CAD, project review

and office support. Managed 3-5 lighting designers and coordinated with

electrical engineering and low voltage systems design departments.

Key Accomplishments:

. Successful completion of several $20 Million+ high profile

commercial projects, utilizing energy efficient control and LED

lighting systems.

. Earned several Awards of Merit from the IIDA.

. Instrumental in the growth of the firm through recruiting, training,

addition of several other design discipline departments and studio

Principal Lighting Designer (2004 to 2006)

Senior manager and Co-founder of Adaptive Design Group. Oversaw the

daily operations of an 11 person lighting design firm. Directly involved

with marketing, customer relations and overall project management.

Established fixture budgets and coordinated with the entire design team.

Managed several projects including design from schematic through

construction documents, coordination with several different sub

contractors and design disciplines. Create overall fixture package

budgets for project review and approval. Presented designs to the design

team and clients, construction management through install, control design

and programming and final aim and tune of light fixtures. Presented

designs to several planning review boards and municipalities.

several award winning lighting projects, both residential and

commercial, including the Scottsdale Waterfront lighting master

plan.

1995 to 1999

Senior Associate Lighting Designer

Project Manager over several multimillion dollar, high end residential

and specialty commercial projects. Duties included schematic design,

design development, production of construction documents, fixture

specification, and budget analysis and client relations. Onsite

construction management with general and subcontractors. Generation of

field reports and general correspondence of revisions throughout course

of projects.

Key Accomplishment:

. Opened a Satellite Office in Phoenix, AZ for the lighting design

division of a large engineering firm. Managed all day to day

operations including design, project management, client relations,

time billing and project coordination with corporate office.
