Information Resources, Inc (In Store Solution Group)
Responsible for extensive territory managing a staff of over 70 direct
reports in five state geography in order to provide UPC based sales data
and business solutions for clients within the consumer package goods
industry. Duties include hiring, training, scheduling and organizing work-
force to properly carry out all assigned projects and weekly tasks.
Coordinate with staff to assure all projects are properly completed in a
timely, cost-effective manor. Meet regularly with staff in the field as
well as via tele-conferencing and email to train, and assure a highest
level of quality to meet client expectations. Recruit and interview to
maintain high quality work-force.
Metro Market Area Manager - October 1990 to June 1999
Information Resources, Inc.
Responsible for daily operations of the Los Angeles Branch of international
marketing research company that collects causal data for the consumer
package goods industry. Accountable for directing all branch
administration, production, distribution, technical support and quality
assurance activities. Recruited, developed and mentored managers,
forecasted and executed annual operating budget, prepared short/long term
strategic plans and maintained a field force of over 60 full and part- time
employees. Coordinated with corporate, office staff and field supervisors
to enable proper execution of the numerous projects to be carried out each
week. Overall accountability of budget, deadlines and quality of work in a
cost - effective manner.
