OBJECTIVE
Seeking a challenging position in civil engineering, emphasizing design, structural analysis, design and testing
to utilize my technical and interpersonal skills and experience for mutual benefit
EXPERIENCE
Research Assistant February 2008 – Present
University of Cincinnati Infrastructure Institute, in association with Ohio department of transportation.
• 2-D and 3-D finite element modeling in SAP 2000 of truss, cable stayed and slab on stringer bridges in Ohio,
(Jeremiah Morrow, Ironton Russell Bridge & Approach Spans, U S grant).
• ASD and LRFD load rating, developing instrumentation plan and helping with live load testing of bridges.
• Analyzing the ambient truck load test data and calibrating of finite element models based on field data.
• Effect of weathering steel on Instrumentation of Bridges.
• Development of instrumentation plan and live load testing of a pre stressed concrete box girder bridge with good
knowledge of health monitoring instruments (strain gages etc) used for bridges.
Project Intern AFCONS INFRASTRUCTURE LIMITED, Pune, Maharashtra, India Summer 2005
• Supervised the casting of concrete segments, Ribor cage making, Pre-stress cable profiling.
