SELECTED PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Created a new revenue generating process for new and existing business
partners. Business was being lost to the competition and sales
opportunities were being left on the table. Implemented an improved
business process which included training, marketing and joint sales calls.
As a direct result, sales for the region were 50% over quota for the year.
Managed a team to develop a new Mobile Data Collection process to increase
revenue. This team consisted of customer's programmers, and Mobile Computer
hardware and software engineers. The process included the development of a
Mobile Data Collection application and the installation of Mobile Computers
into 1300 vehicles. Once completed, the customer increased the number of
stops per day which resulted in cost saving and revenue increase.
Led an integration team to develop a process to decrease customer invoicing
time. Utilized an internal team to design a functional specification to
produce a 3rd party Mobile application. This was a real time proof of
delivery application designed to run over a WWAN network. Being able to
gather this data in real time resulted in an improved invoicing time from 1
week to 2 days.
Implemented a process for Field Service customers to remotely manage
software on Mobile Computers. Provided on-site and web based training of
device management software. This management software gave the customer the
ability to manage and fix software related problems on the Mobile
Computers. Customers were able to eliminate unnecessary shipping charges to
a service depot for software related problems.
Achieved or exceeded annual sales goals 7 out of 9 years while at Intermec
