Lead Structures Engineer - Logan Airport Elevated Walkways Project
Assigned primary responsibility for the off-loading, transport, and
erection of 150 ton elevated walkway trusses. Developed ACAD truss
hoisting and erection plans that included utilizing a 600 ton DeMag crane
and super-lift counterweight. Designed and directed the installation of
shoring towers and hydraulic jacks at all truss splice locations.
Engineered and directed the installation of a traveling truss work platform
to facilitate subcontractor finish systems. Established concrete gang form
layout drawings and steel erection plans for all vertical circulation
towers. Supervised the rehabilitation of three concurrently worked airport
terminals.
Structures Engineer - Central Artery C01A6 Tunnel Project
Responsible for designing and directing the concrete formwork for all
tunnel bases, walls, and roofs. Directed the construction of 120 ton steel
roof soffit travelers and developed ACAD traveler alignment drawings.
Inspected concrete formwork, reinforcement, embeds, and sleeves prior to
all concrete placements. Worked directly with project superintendent and
trade foremen in designing and implementing means and methods. Developed
and maintained a cost tracking and progress program for all major
construction activities.
