2007-2009 - Pre-Press Manager
Most recently managed a large pre-press manufacturing facility supporting
several worldwide printing plants. Responsible for managing projects,
overseeing complex timelines, ensuring that production workflows run on
schedule, and that deadlines, as well as internal and external client
expectations are met throughout all production stages. Advised staff and
clients on technical aspects of package and print production. Managed and
monitored the daily workflow and implemented ideas to improve the operation
of the plant. Modified existing standard operating procedure to make it
more efficient, resulting in a sustained 18% decrease in error rate for the
plant. Directed staff in recognizing and capturing lost billing to maximize
profits. Evaluated and directed high end color correction from initial
artwork to press run. Partnered with executive management to empower the
staff to take initiative and make sound everyday decisions.

2005-2007 - Technical Systems Manager / Studio Manager
Managed all technical aspects of an on site pre press studio for a high
volume music and entertainment publisher. Responsibilities included
training and supervising staff, quality control, pre-flighting and
execution of diverse and complex packaging solutions. As a hands-on working
manager, it was my responsibility to personally handle and assess the most
demanding work in the studio, as well as guiding the production staff and
advising the customer in the most efficient and cost effective means to
deliver the desired result. Working hand in hand with some of the largest
packaging oriented printers in the country; I ensured all mechanical
aspects of the job such as dies, trapping, color order, folds, etc., were
correct and met specification.

Managed large packaging / agency / publication pre-press facility.
Instrumental in the successful design, set up, start up, and management of
several internal and on site facilities. Responsibilities included working
with client, staff, and printers to ensure quality standards and deadlines
were met. Supervised large staff of Mac personnel in color correction and
high end retouching of scanned and customer supplied files, assembly,
troubleshooting, and trapping of customer files for digital proofing and
computer to plate. Other accomplishments include directing workflow
assessment team for the entire eastern region, and assisting the Vice
Presidents, Executive Vice President, and President of the company review,
assess, and design workflows and infrastructure for existing and new
