* Project leader and industrial psychology business consultant for the
completion of a Financial Services job analysis and the implementation
of a state of the art situational judgment assessment tool hosted by
Shaker Consulting Group. This new assessment tool successfully
identified high performing talent saving the company over $1million
dollars in initial training costs for incoming Financial advisors -
MetLife
* Partnered with a global assessment vendor to develop a new competency
model for the Financial Advisor role. This new competency model lead
to the launch of a new set of interview guides - MetLife
* Technical project lead and subject matter expert for the
implementation of a new applicant tracking platform powered by Taleo.
This new system streamlined the on-boarding process and brought the
company up to speed in terms of compliance requirements - MetLife

Senior Managing Consultant (Selection & Assessment) - November 2007 to
Present
Responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of
the assessment systems and processes for the selection of top performing
Financial Advisors across 3 distribution channels of MetLife. Serve as an
expert resource to clients or internal stakeholders about issues related to
assessment, selection, and organizational development. Duties include but

. Senior Consulting/Client Relationship - Consult with HR leaders and
executive leadership to design complex, integrated assessment
solutions that meet the global business needs while improving
productivity and retention. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to
Senior Management on industrial organization topics like job analysis,
selection system design and implementation, behavioral interviewing
and test validation strategies. Advise leadership on the appropriate
application of tools and methodologies to diagnose, identify and
resolve organizational issues. Conduct candidate assessments to
determine job compatibility and make necessary recommendations for
progression through the selection process. Design and facilitate
meetings, seminars and other training forums to assist users in
effectively understanding selection theories and utilizing the
provided tools and resources. Responsible for traveling to company
sponsored training programs as the subject matter expert for the
Selection & Assessment team.
. Organizational Development/Effectiveness - Partner with other internal
business stakeholders to design and implement large-scale strategic
initiatives which include competency modeling, selection best
practices, human performance strategies, talent management strategies,
succession planning/management, executive assessment, executive
coaching/development and executive team building. Ensure that
training activities are focused on business needs and corporate
objectives.
. Selection Analytics - Responsible for partnering with the vendor's
Industrial Psychologists to conduct all phases of criterion-related
validation data collection and analyses (both normative and adverse
impact analyses). Validation phases include form design, data
collection, data analysis, report writing, authoring
presentations/marketing documents, cataloging results for meta-
analyses and communicating results to the firm management and
leadership teams. Also in charge of facilitating the post-
implementation analyses to ensure psychometric equivalence. Partner
with the vendor to establish, implement and verify the accuracy of
customized scoring algorithms based on validation evidence.
Responsible for end to end Quality Assurance testing of the web-based
assessment tools.
. Technology - Responsible for the design and implementation of 2 state
of the art applicant tracking systems - Taleo and PreVisor. Designed
a process to integrate the applicant tracking system with the
company's HRIS (PeopleSoft) and training & development platform (MAX).
Examine and document current workflows, recommending improvements
where applicable and serve as a facilitator and champion for those
changes. Prepare, test and validate data files for interface and
coordinate with internal and external customers to develop and execute
interfaces. Maintain security control to ensure appropriate access
and usage by the end-users.
. Compliance - Continuously improve analysis processes and technical
documentation to ensure compliance with professional, regulatory and
legal standards. Consult with internal and external business partners
(HR, Legal and Compliance) on validation methodologies, validation
results, professional, regulatory and legal issues.
. Vendor Management - Act as the company liaison and subject matter
expert to external selection assessment vendors. Effectively manage
all external vendors through new and on-going projects.
