multimillion dollar projects. Developed electrical specifications for all
Ag Engineering group. Coordinated installation, start up, project
completion and close out for multiple projects. Created design basis
requirements, scope of work documents, security and IT requirements, fire
protection system requirements.
ENGINEERING TECHNICAL LEAD, MAVERICK TECHNOLOGIES (2007 - 2008)
CONTINENTAL CEMENT
Project manager for afternoon shift during project installation and start
up. Commissioned equipment and worked with multiple disciplines for
identifying critical path items, creating and executing punch list
requirements, coordinating work activities for several contract
organizations.
TATE & LYLE GROUP
Responsibilities include all technical development, new equipment and
software evaluations, standards implementation and technical assistance.
Developed Engineering Programming and Software standards, created new
standard using Add On instructions, supervised the creation of the new
Project Resource Center. Trained new hires and developed training
standards. Developed several projects for process controls for Ethanol
processing, Corn Milling and Refining.
SENIOR CONTROLS ENGINEER, BARRY-WEHMILLER DESIGN GROUP (2003 - 2007)
Responsibilities include financial and schedule management, vendor support
management, installation overview, scope of work development, design
documentation development including drawings, panel sizing, loading, bill
of materials, PLC program and HMI design development and start-up of
conveyor, packaging and bottling systems.
LEPRINO FOODS - ROSWELL, NM
Doubled the size of an existing plant. The scope included adding 4 new
processing and packaging line. Was Electrical Installation manager and
then transitioned into Process programming for Line controls.
NESTLES WATERS - ZEPHYRHILLS, FL
Upgraded existing Line 6 with secondary line and doubled line capacity (PET
line) and installed a new Line 11 with high speed (1600 bpm) filling line.
PEPSI BOTTLING GROUP - NEWPORT NEWS, VA
Redesign of existing full can line to run 2 x 6 case configurations. Line
installation of new case packer, new Palletizer, new conveyor, VFD Line
control, redesign and relocation of two existing case packers, full system
integration, throughput and line speed improvement.
KRAFT FOODS, INC - GRANITE CITY, IL
Perform evaluation study for improving product throughput. Initiated
system upgrades based on study results, reprogrammed and installed new
conveying equipment and performed several system upgrades.
FREEDOM CORRUGATE / MARQUIP/WARD/UNITED
Design and software development for corrugate equipment including
distributed PLC control, Panel view Plus software development, sequence
programming, field service support and development of programming
standards.
PEPSI COLA CONCENTRATE - ARLINGTON, TX
Design and installation engineer for redesigning of packaging conveyor and
controls upgrade. Managed installation of new zero pressure accumulating
conveyor with operator interface and incorporated existing plant equipment
into new conveyor layout. Improved product throughput ~250%
PEPSI COLA - CHEVERLY, MD
Installation and design engineer for motor upgrades for Airveyor bottle
conveyors. Installed variable frequency drives to accommodate addition of
20 oz light weight bottle (water) to existing 20 oz carbonated bottling
line. Upgraded programming to allow zone-by-zone control of each type of
bottle.
ROBOTIC VISION SYSTEMS INC. - NASHUA, NH (2001 - 2003)
Vision system applications engineer - Responsibilities included evaluating
applications, developing specifications, integrating vision systems to new
or existing manufacturing facilities.
AMERICAN ORDNANCE - MIDDLETOWN, IA (1997-2001)
Senior Controls Engineer - Responsibilities included scope of work
development, design documentation including drawings, panel sizing,
loading, bill of materials, PLC program and HMI design development,
installation, and start-up of conveyor, paint systems, and all level of
manufacturing processes.

Maintenance Supervisor - Responsibilities included supervising all
maintenance for new float glass facility, start up of facility, development
of preventative maintenance procedures, work prioritization, and
supervising maintenance and technical personnel.
COMMONWEALTH EDISON - CORDOVA, IL (1990 - 1996)
Scheduling and leveling manpower along with project management
responsibilities. Design engineering working on design changes, updating
plant documentation, safety evaluations. Extensive work on Fire Safety
systems, Reactor Water level controls, Motorola radio systems, and full
nuclear systems training.
