Senior Programmer Analyst

As a senior programmer analyst, modified and enhanced Licensing, Royalty

and Commissions systems for Music Publishers and Manufacturers. Created a

Sub System to track Direct Deposits and generate Wire Transfers to

Foreign Publishers, Created Sub-System to calculate and Post Quarterly

Interest on Held Accounts. Created Modular System to Auto Generate Holds

and Adjustments before Posting. Heavy used RPG and Aldon for change

management. Re-engineered the Royalties Tracking Dashboard for Management

Reports via Cognos. Below are my accomplishments while working on various

projects as developer, and business analyst. I documented business

requirements (BRD), developed functional and process flows, prepared test

cases for unit and quality acceptance tests. Also conducted post

production verifications.

Key Accomplishments:

> Implemented new website incorporating current contents, various

system access as well as installing security setup for

affiliated and non-affiliated publishers. During the quality

assurance and user acceptance test logged 400 plus defects. Site

went live on March 1st, 2010.

> Managed "Late fee for late payment" project that was required to

comply with Copyright Royalty Board (CRB) rulings. This project

calculates late fee depending on the quarter they reported and

checks for reporting irregularities. Phase 1 included generating

late fee invoices, micro penny calculation & distribution and

tracking undistributed micro-pennies at publisher level. Phase 2

will include retroactive late fee calculation & distribution.

> Managed Online User Tracking project where process logs external

users' use of HFA systems and its functions. So the management

can evaluate system usage, external organizations preferred

systems and determine ROI on new systems.

> Reconciled new publishers report for NMPA board as they were

providing different figures depending upon data source

> Proposed solutions to facilitate third party data integration

with HFA's internal data, worked with internal technical &

business management & staff. Applied this solution to integrate

data from Sony/BMG, Warner Music, Sound Scan plus more.

> Implemented auto-matching solution that required developing test

data, configuring Fitnesse test tool, analyzing test results and

determining ideal weight for matching third party data. Also

proposed & designed new faster re-matching process to save

system process time.

> Generated metadata matching results reports by data source &

matching method detailing manual matches/unmatched. Management

evaluates third party data content based upon this report and

our system performances. Developed utilizing Cognos 8.3

reporting tool.
