Production Manager - Largo Wound Management

Managed approximately 200 full time and contract manufacturing technicians,

Supervisors, and Team Leads over a three shift operation of six production

areas of wound management products (Allevyn, Skin Care, Acticoat, NPWT,

Exudry, and Films). Front-line managed two new product areas as they were

brought into facility (Allevyn and NPWT).

. Monitored, maintained, and set up projects for all product areas for

yield, cycle time, on-time delivery, and throughput volume

requirements.

. Initiated and managed various lean projects; utilization of KanBans,

5S, quick changeover methods, and linear manufacturing.

. With plant closure set for end of 2009, currently part of senior

management team working on third party production transfers and

preparations for facility closure.

. Worked closely with Quality management on plan to reduce employee-based

CAPA issues; resulting in a year-on-year improvement since 2005.

. Designed and developed integrated capacity models for production lines.

data collection and reporting system.
