Performed and documented predictive/preventive and routine maintenance,
troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of injection molding machines
including Set up on Nissei and Milacron. Also worked with toggle and
hydraulic Toshiba molding machines. Provided support on auxiliary
equipment for other various assembly operations.

Responsible for start ups and troubleshooting of plastic injection molding
machines and ensure cycle times are running to established standard.
Conducted Injection Molding process reviews on new and existing molds to
establish and monitor capability. Worked on Milicron and Nissei molding
machines. Involved working with High temperature (above 450oC) and high
pressure injection systems. Some larger plastic injection molding machines
required clamping force over 4000 tons. Familiar with Toggle Clamping
System Machines from 55 tons to 6000 tons, Hydraulic Clamping Machines from
50 tons to 280 tons, Thermosetting Plastic Machines from 60 tons to 500
tons. Worked with multicavity molds and various plastic materials. Familiar
with various components of the machines including hopper, movable platen,
reciprocating screw, barrel and nozzle. Performed assembly, disassembly
set up and maintenance of all components.
