Description:
The CDC's Procurement and Grants Office (PGO) measuring its performance by
defining and collecting data on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The KPIs
measure the workload within PGO and the cycle times for many PGO
activities.
PGO uses two tools to display and share data on the KPI's: Scorecards and
Operating Reports. Scorecards contain summary performance
information across PGO and at the branch level, while Operating Reports
contain detailed information to the level of individual transactions.
In order to provide a more intuitive, graphic, and user-friendly tool, the
existing Scorecards are being replaced. Overtime, additional PGO Scorecards
will be added, including cycle times for processes that are completed by
CIOs and additional measures of PGO performance, such as forecast data,
Small business by categories, employee attrition and customer satisfaction.
Additionally, the software used to power the new Scorecards will allow for
greater flexibility in the future, and the Scorecards and Operating
Reports will eventually be combined into one reporting tool.
