Information Technology

( IT ) experience in various Industries including Credit Card,

Banking, Insurance, Health care, Banking, Telecom, Mortgage, Retail(

POS ), Mobile devices, Food, Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing and State

government.

. Experience in writing Business requirements document (BRD), Functional

Requirements document (FRD), Use Cases.

. Experience in database platforms including Oracle, MS SQL Server and

MS Access.

. Experience in conducting Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions

for requirements gathering, analysis, and design.

. Extensive Knowledge in all areas of Software Development Life Cycle

(SDLC) and industry standard project methodologies like Waterfall

methodology, Rational Unified Process (RUP) Agile (SCRUM) and process

improvement methodologies Six Sigma, CMM (Capability Maturity Models),

and quality management standards ISO 9000 and iRise tool (for

Prototyping).

. Knowledge of UML in visualizing and documenting the artifacts using

Use Cases diagrams, dataflow diagrams in Rational Rose and MS-Visio.

. Knowledge of business intelligence tools in large scale data

warehouse/Data model environments.

. Worked on various applications including Client/Server, Web based, and

Windows applications using manual and automated tools.

. Experience in creating Use Case Documents, defining Use Cases, Use

Case Scenarios, creating developing/executing Test Plans, Test Cases,

analyzing bugs, handling change requests and conducting User

Acceptance Testing (UAT) with user groups.

. Experience in systems analysis for developing new and replacement

(modifying the existing use cases) application and software

enhancements projects.

. Experience in creating Traceability Matrix to manage the requirement

gathering process and keeping track of the milestone.

. Have Strong analytical, problem solving skills and ability to work

well under pressure/ time constraints, independently prioritize

workloads and work under time constraints.

. Conversant with Onsite - Offshore software development and delivery

model.
