EXPERIENCE
The Appcon Group Inc., Rochester, NY: (Oct 2003-present)
Position: Hardware engineer and electrical engineering consultant to
companies such as Kirtas, Solar Sentry, Xerox and Delphi.
Responsibilities: Designing, integrating, troubleshooting, and
maintaining embedded and PC interfaced control systems.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve design
goals and meet project requirements. Working directly with
customers to obtain system requirements, generate quotes and
schedules, and to provide status reports for ongoing projects.
Representing the company on international business trips to
England and Canada.
Achievements: Over a dozen successfully integrated hardware designs
implementing various microprocessors, FPGAs, and ASICs.
Experience designing digital, analog, and mixed signal circuits
for power supplies, motor control, data acquisition, RF
communication, and image processing. Lead hardware design
engineer on several projects, including a wireless solar panel
monitoring system and a full xerographic print engine control
system. Lead hardware engineer on numerous projects
implementing existing hardware or OTS electronics, including an
overhead flatbed document scanner and dozens of test fixtures.

and under budget, while avoiding costly redesigns through
successful research, planning, and implementation.
