Online Chat Application in JAVA: (2010)

. Implemented a chat server and client in Java using TCP Sockets.

. Allows users to chat online using the chat client UI which is similar to

conventional chat windows.

. Used Eclipse IDE for Java, Microsoft Expression Web for the HTML

Online Library Management System in PHP: (2009)

. Allows users to view, search, borrow and return books online. Provides a

separate login for Administrator privileges.

. Used PHP and Oracle DB. Used Eclipse IDE for PHP.

Sudoku in JAVA: (Seed InfoTech, 2008)

. Created Sudoku game Applet allowing users to play Sudoku using an

intuitive User interface

. The code was written using core Java.

E-Banking in JAVA: (Seed InfoTech, 2008)

. Implemented an e-banking application which involved account handling,

transaction details of customers.

. It was in Java and made extensive use of the Swing library.

Domain Name System and Security Issues: (NJIT, 2008)

. Established the mapping of name to address and vice-versa in Domain Name

System.

. Elucidated various concepts including Domain Name Space, Distribution of

Name Space, and Resolution Mechanism.

. Focused on the security issues related to DNS concerned with cache

poisoning, denial of service, information leakage.

Planetary Space Probe: (NJIT, 2010)

. Designed a probe to perform Data collection in autonomous mode once

deployed into orbit around a planet.

. Design included magnetometer, sun sensors, spectrometer, camera, antenna

etc. to collect data about the planet's surface.

Paper presentations

. Presented a paper on Bluetooth which is a new technology standard that

uses short range radio links intended to replace cable for connecting

electronic devices. (NJIT, 2009)

. Presented a critic paper on Net Neutrality which states that data packets

on the Internet should be moved impartially, without regard to content,

destination or source. (NJIT, 2009)
