Director of Financial Planning & Analysis 1999 -
present
. Manage the corporate planning and analysis function of A.T. Kearney,
reporting directly to the CFO with six to eight direct reports and
indirect reports in Europe and Asia. Areas of responsibility
include: consolidation and risk/opportunity assessment of the
monthly operating forecast and annual business and strategic plan,
new business analysis, corporate internal/external reporting,
financial support for mergers/divestitures and
development/implementation of financial policies and programs.
. Developed for the Board and advisory council an assessment of the
firm's capital/equity structure and helped to design a new $85
million equity capital account and wealth building model which
ensures the adequacy of our operating and financing requirements
while enhancing the collaborative partnership culture. The capital
account provides equity returns to utilize DTA's over near term,
equalizes share holdings and provides for key uses of cash.
. Designed the firm's carbon measurement and reporting approach,
sustainability KPIs and offsetting process which reduced A.T.
Kearney's carbon footprint by 20% in two years. Lead the finance
governance team in the execution of our emission reduction plan.
. Establish financial and operating targets for business units as well
as the firm and monitor performance against plan/forecast.
Implemented the first "balanced scorecard" in the firm which reduced
trade DSO by 20 days. Instituted standard sales pipeline procedures
and provided statistical analysis of backlog coverage, probable job
and staffing needs, improving top-line forecasting accuracy 20% for
our core consulting units.
. Evaluate potential joint venture partnerships and
mergers/acquisitions/divestitures of business units. Develop pro
forma financial statement models and conducted due diligence of
equity for fee and contingency engagements, ensuring positive net
present value and adequate risk premiums.
. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and outside consulting firms
to establish new compensation and retention programs and evaluate
manpower/succession-planning initiatives. Leading role in the
financial modeling and development of A.T. Kearney's performance

. Enhanced internal controls through improved policies and process

. Developed the corporate Free Cash Flow, Balance Sheet and Capex
forecast processes and integrated our reporting with the EDS- SAP
system prior to the MBO in 2005. Instituted exception reporting for
past due accounts which assigned accountability, lowering our past
due percentage 7 basis points in 2009.
. Implemented a new budgeting/performance management software system
(SRC, a Hyperion competitor), incorporating unique A.T. Kearney
business rules and direct data feeds from our HRIS, payroll and
global finance systems and obtained buy-in across the organization.

. Provide analytical and decision support for the implementation of
numerous internal consulting engagements including sourcing for the
firms travel, telecom, and IT spending which cut annual expenditures
by $35 million.

Kearney and the Finance Committee of our then parent EDS.
