Responsibilities included project development from the initial design to
implementation of all components. Understand designs in order to write test plans, test
procedures, and test cases for each individual software release. Perform unit, feature,
and regression testing for various applications including OCR, automated database
lookups, and image enhancement software. Familiar with various HCFA1500, UB92
and ADA Dental claim types. Worked extensively with other form types including
securities trading, invoices, parking tickets, expense statements, non-standard health
screening forms, and insurance tracking.
Solely responsible for training and providing technical support to offshore data entry
resources including the character repair stage of health care claims processing.

Applications tested are written in C#, C++, Visual Basic, VBScript, JavaScript,
FoxPro, and MicroFocus COBOL using SQL Server 2000/7 database. All testing is on
Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows NT. Maintained
test cases and test results in a central location allowing access by test team,
developers, and management. Used Microsoft Access and SQLQueryAnalyzer to
query results database from an XML file on previous test results as compared to
current test results. Used SharePoint to maintain documentation for business
rulebooks to ensure everyone is using the same version (load XML or Word
Documents). In addition, extensive use of other internally developed tools to aid in
testing. Currently in the process of implementing AutomatedQA's TestComplete3,
TestExecute, and TestRecorder.
