Senior Vice President, Managed Services
Business unit head of CHR Solutions' Managed Services organization,
providing a full range of IT and infrastructure managed services products,
IT business consulting and applications managed services. These services
include IT strategic planning, disaster preparedness, compliance
remediation and support, application customization/support, network
engineering/support, remote infrastructure management, service desk,
deskside and telephone systems support, and hosted services. Performed CIO
and CTO duties for many clients personally.

o Developed the organization into a functioning Business Unit with a
marketing plan, a portfolio of products/services, a product management

Aegis.
Key Accomplishments:
o Selected a new network carrier, redesigned the network, implemented VoIP
throughout, and moved all WAN services to a new converged architecture.
Outsourced hands-on support for remote locations; re-negotiated all
hardware, software, and service contracts. These activities resulted in
a reduction of 40% of operating cost.
o Reorganized the group structure, defined interfaces with peer IT
organizations and business units that utilized the services. Regularly
scheduled open communications meetings with employees and business unit
clients. Cut the department's attrition rate from over 50% to nearly
nothing in one year.
o Implemented a Change Management process, a central point of control for
service issues, developed and communicated service metrics to the
corporation.
o Consolidated data centers into two locations, designed, implemented and

type in history. Completed the IT Infrastructure integration with

portfolio of services with delivery processes. Built a very high
performance organization with exceptional morale and virtually no
attrition.
o Developed key strategic partnerships with suppliers (AT&T, MCI, Cisco,
Microsoft, Sprint) resulting in drastically reduced costs for delivering
products. Renegotiated contracts, deployed new and improved technology,
reduced labor costs, and refined services resulting in a cost reduction
of $100M over pre-merger cost per year.
o Built an offshore service center in Bangalore, India reducing labor

Accountable for the strategic direction and daily leadership of various IT
operations, including planning, policies, workflow prioritization, project
supervision, and oversight of information technology for COMPAQ. Direct
development and support of call center IT Infrastructure, networking, and
telecommunications infrastructure design/development, web-based
