Summary

Large experience in Automotive Industry, starting as Manufacturing

Engineering Trainee at Ford Motor Company in 1996 and moved to General

Motors do Brasil in 1997 working for Aftersales Department providing

technical support to dealers. Promoted to Quality Department as Quality &

Reliability engineer responsible for quality initiatives planning and

implementation, as well field complains analysis and customer satisfaction

researches. In 2001, started activities at FIAT-GM Powertrain, as product

engineer responsible for engines development regarding new technologies,

parts localization & deproliferation, searching for product value

optimization, focusing valve train components, water & oil pumps and

cooling systems. Since 2005, working as Senior Product Engineer responsible

for development and application of manual & automatic transmissions at GM

Powertrain. Deep knowledge in gears, shafts, differentials systems and

bearings, as well as data acquisition and validation tests execution. In

2007 initiated managing activities as Product Engineering Supervisor,

leading and coaching a Product Development Team, responsible for all 5

speed manual transmission in Brazil and Europe sites. Honored by GM

President Award during Q3/2008, after outstanding contribution in Product

strategy to supply Manual Transmissions to increased LAAM market, bringing

more than 120.000 additional transmissions (year basis) to GMB vehicles.
