Pearson Education/National Transcript Center (NTC)

For NTC I use the Eclipse IDE to work on Java programs that

convert data files from csv database extracts into Pesc XML.

Also, I developed a Java program that uses Apache VFS to connect

to an SFTP and moves files to the appropriate folder. I have

used Cron jobs, ANT, and MySQL here. The team uses Agile

methodologies including iterations and scrum.

In addition to my development activities I have been acting as

the level 2 support, occasionally assisting with some quality

assurance testing, and performing some desktop support tasks.

Programmer Nov 05 - March 07

Accenture Technology Solutions (ATS)

I was on a team who provided application maintenance and

modification for the eligibility portion of the application.

Most of my development work was with the business logic code and

XML decision table rules. We would program maintenance fixes,

implement modifications, troubleshoot/analyze production issues,

writing SQL statements with PL/SQL, change excel decision tables,

perform peer reviews, test our changes, and complete

documentation.

Also, in an effort to prevent confusion and to have a central

location for documents and information, I created a Network team

and an EDBC team website using Microsoft tools and HTML. Both of

the team sites were used as an information source and a central

document.

Computer Technician - Independent Contractor Sept 04 - Nov 05

Micro Technologies, BMC, Sunburst Realty, Maltec

At Sunburst Realty I answered questions over the phone, replaced

computer components, and helped to set up different software

programs.

BMC had me install new Computer Systems for government offices.

For Micro Technologies I repaired and refurbished circuit boards

on terminals and printers. I also repaired computers and

installed a POS system for a cafe.

With Maltec, I wired buildings with 110 blocks, Cat5e Data

Modules, and Ethernet outlets in addition to doing service calls

to homes and businesses for computer repair work.
