. Chaired a cross-functional company team to source and justify vacuum /
gas flush, inert packaging equipment for pharmaceutical, food and
beverage grade products to
meet product quality requirements. Developed flexible film, laminate
barrier bags
to insure product integrity and performance characteristics in

requirements of the vacuum / inert packaging equipment.
. Designed specialty poly blow molded, tight head drum with 6" opening in
2007 for viscous products susceptible to micro-contamination. Eliminated
over $500,000 of annual product loss, disposal costs and lost sales.
. Developed flexible foil laminate bags and pouches to insure quality and
integrity of a hygroscopic beverage clarifier (Polyclar) sold to beer and
wine producers.
. Developed flexible foil laminate liners for Polyclar super sacks to
support bulk sales.
. Initiated project in 2008 to eliminate costly poly lined steel drums with
the new poly drum with 6"opening. Annual savings are $260,000.
. Managed day to day contract distribution warehouse issues and conducted
annual onsite audits. Reduced complaints by over 50% annually and
recorded on time and complete customer shipments of 99.9% annually from
2002 through 2008
. Generated cost savings of over $590,000 working with ISP Logistics in
Europe to implement corrective action with plants and distribution
centers by improving export container loading, blocking and bracing
methods. Significantly reduced damage and associated product repackaging
and disposal costs.
. Managed ISP Logistics Department ISO 9000 certification, responsible for
all procedures, documentation, corrective actions and audits.

. Chaired a multi-function task team to convert returnable biocide steel
totes to one-way disposable totes. Also implemented a customer tote
recycling program. Conversion project produced an annual cost savings of
$280,000.
. Developed procedures for initiation of new packaging for all ISP
production, toll manufactured and resale products including international
repackaging. Procedure significantly improved efficiency and service to
Product Management by streamlining the package / regulatory review and
approval process for product commercialization.
. Developed a "certified, clean package & dispensing system" (poly drum and
dip tube) for high purity, electronic grade solvents to eliminate
particulate contamination.
. Led a cross functional Packaging & Labeling Quality Improvement Team
(QIT) to implement $1.7 million in cost savings and quality improvements
in 1996/1997. Received the "ISP President's Award" in 1997as the top QIT
in ISP. The team achieved documented cost savings of $6.6 million from
1996 through 2002.
. Packaging participant on all corporate acquisition assimilation teams for
biocides, silicones, elastomers, oil field, and soap bead and alginate
businesses.
. Reorganized and managed ISP's Packaging & Labeling Department and
assimilated the Material Safety Data Sheet function for improved
