Project Engineer/Deputy Project Manager (January 2010 - Present)

Project Engineer working in the capacity of Deputy Project

Manager stationed in Malongo, Chevron's oil base in Cabinda,

assisting the Project Manager for Kuito FPSO ABS Compliance

project, an effort to renew the 5 year ABS certificates.

Duties include: Oversee and update Project Management on

fabrication progress, according to schedule, at Petromar and FE

Engineering fabrication Yards; maintain and update fabrication

schedule; responsible for procurement of new materials and

tracking of logistics team, ensuring timely purchase and

delivery to yard; ensure shipment and installation of fabricated

material offshore; progress reporting to Chevron Management team

Lead Process Engineer (March 2009 - November 2009)

Process Lead, stationed at the Houston Engineering Office,

reporting to the Engineering Project Manager (EPM) and Project

Manager (PM) on the Thunder Hawk Project.

Duties included: Provide support and engineering guidance,

including development of process calculations, datasheets and

reports, while troubleshooting, re-engineering and optimizing

mechanical equipment, instrumentation and piping items during

Topsides commissioning and start-up effort offshore; Assist the

EPM and PM with technical expertise while addressing warranty

claims issued by the Client and Operator, Murphy Oil Corp;

Develop, review and approve "as-built" documentation such as

P&Ids, PFDs, SAFE Charts, SFDs, and Facility Operations Manuals

to include client comments and modifications during

construction, commissioning and start-up; Provide process

expertise for safety review [HAZOP] of vendor equipment and

skids as well as close-out of HAZOP Action items listed as

"un-resolved" in the Topsides HAZOP Register; Conduct project

Process Engineer, providing process support to the commissioning

Process engineer, on the Thunder Hawk detailed engineering

(execution) stage of the Topsides Processing Facilities.

Duties included: Prepared Safety Flow Diagrams (SFDs) and SAFE

Charts, ensuring compliance with API-14C; Responsible for

project line sizing calculations and development of the line

list report; Developed Mechanical Flow Diagram drawings (MFDs),

operating guides, participated in HAZOP meetings, liaised with

vendors and other disciplines on relevant engineering issues,

supported FAT visits, and updated reports, datasheets, and

calculation spreadsheets for the Vapour Recovery Unit (VRU),

Process Engineer, on-loan to the Marine Engineering Group,

during the FEED and detailed engineering (Execution) phases of

the FRADE FPSO.

Duties included: Write-up of Vessel Material Selection report

Pre-FEED, FEED and execution phases of engineering design of the

NEPTUNE TLP for BHP Billiton.

Duties included: Responsible for developing HYSIS process base

case simulations and Process Simulation Report; Conducted a Heat

Availability Study to optimize the design of the Oil System Heat

Exchangers, Heating Medium System, Waste Heat Recovery Units as

well as the establishment of Electrostatic Coalescing and

Storage Tank (ECOST) Vessel's operating conditions; Involved in

Process Engineer (June 2004 - August 2004)

Process Engineer, assigned to work on the Serpentina Engineering

study, related to the ability of the Serpentina FPSO to accept

crude from the Zaffiro FPSO and the Jade production facilities,

located nearby.

Duties included: Conducted a surge analysis to determine the

potential for a hydraulic surge initiated by closure of the oil

pipeline SDV, which could exceed pipeline design pressure for

both normal and upset flow rates, based on a published closure

time of 45 seconds; Built a Flowmaster model and performed a

steady state and transient analysis of the closure time for the

SDV during normal and emergency shutdowns. Reported results and

recommendations to Process Lead Engineer and Engineering Project

Manager.

Falcon FPSO Retrofit, Exxon Mobil-Kizomba C, MONDO Field,

offshore Angola.

Process Engineer (January 2004 - May 2004 )

Process Engineer involved in the design and other critical path

activities for the Falcon FPSO retrofit, to be deployed to the

Mondo Field, part of the Kizomba C development offshore Angola.

Duties included: Built the FLARENET model for the HP and LP

flare systems and assisted the lead engineer with the process

calculations; Responsible for preparing calculation sheets, PSV

sizing, P&Ids, Line list, datasheets and Functional

specifications for systems such as Sea water lift pumps, Coarse

filters, SRP Package, Deaeration Tower, Water injection booster
